Playtogetaway (IRE)
This son of Getaway is a very racy looking individual that has a very good page with a very proven dam-sire in Saddlers Hall, we have had good luck with Getaway’s this year with the likes of Flight Deck winning a Pertemps qualifier and Anyharminasking (the sole conqueror of Constitution Hill in his point to point) working his way up to a rating of 140. Jonjo Jr went over to Ireland in January and sat on about fourteen youngsters and was mad about this one, Playtogetaway had his first run in a 4yo maiden at Tinahely, when looking like winning travelling upsides he tipped up at the second last, a son of Balko who Jonjo Jr also rode while in Ireland and loved was the winner so we know the form is strong, the winner is going to the sale on Thursday and we think will make plenty of money. We were desperate to secure him before he ran again as we were sure he would win and go to the sale for plenty of money, we think he is very good value and shows plenty of natural speed
Time For A Pint (IRE)
A smart sort who was third on debut in a decent looking Turtulla maiden. He then followed up at Tyrella with success on just his second start. While he did pass the post in second on this occasion it is only fair to note that the winner did not draw the correct weight when returning suggesting this fellow was very much the winner on merit and deserves his winning bracket in full. He is clearly progressive and looks the sort who could drop back in trip and remain most effective as he retains a turn of foot. He is from the family of the high class Cotton Call.
Present Chief (IRE)
This three time winning son of Presenting improved at the rate of knots two seasons ago and worked his way up to a handicap mark of 126. He was good enough to qualify for the Pertemps Finals at The Cheltenham Festival in a qualifier at Newbury. We have learnt that Present Chief needs really nice ground to be at his optimum therefore we have been selective in where we run him. In the Autumn we wanted to get some experience into him going novice chasing, and we felt like he took to it very well. We have given him a break and freshened him up for a Summer/Autumn campaign and are confident he can put his lowered mark of 112 to good use.
Mark The Man (IRE)
This son of Valirann made his way from a mid-division position to improve on the turn for home. He continued his progression towards two out to make an effort to challenge before the last. Whilst still a few lengths down at this stage he was drawing clear from the other challengers when unseating the rider at the final fence. At this stage in the race he had done enough for any reasonable judge to gain comfort that he holds considerable talent and promise and will be a very talented sort when embarking on a track career. He is a brother to a winner and the page traces back to some smart stayers on the level suggesting he has the class to progress to a high level.
