SOLE OWNERSHIP
★ ★ ★ ★ ★
Have you always dreamed about owning your own racehorse?
Sole Ownership is a very popular and straightforward way of enjoying the thrills of racing. The excitement of cheering your horse to the line is like nothing else and few things give us a bigger sense of satisfaction than helping a new owner realise the ambition of having a winner.
Becoming a new own may seem a daunting task but it's a simple task. Our team will guide you through registering with the British Horseracing Authority (BHA) and will assist you in choosing your very own silk colours over a glass of champagne here at Jackdaws Castle.
SYNDICATES & PARTNERSHIPS
★ ★ ★ ★ ★
Racehorse ownership used to be seen as only for the elite. However, with an increase in popularity of syndicates and partnerships, there are now opportunities for many people to enjoy the excitement of being an owner.
BENEFITS OF BEING IN A SYNDICATE
The most obvious benefit of being in a syndicate is being able to share the costs involved. This is a cheaper way of beginning and a chance to become part of a group of like minded people, which in turn can really improve your enjoyment of a day at, say, Cheltenham or Aintree.
Subject to certain requirements, all VAT is recoverable on the costs involved. The team at Jonjo O’Neill Racing will advise on how best to do this.
CORPORATE OWNERSHIP
★ ★ ★ ★ ★
Do you want to enter the exciting world of corporate racehorse ownership? We can help you to get started and reach the goals that you want to achieve. Through our industry contacts and a thorough knowledge of horseracing, we can provide packages to suit large corporations as well as smaller business investors.
WHY OWN A RACEHORSE?
There are numerous benefits to corporate ownership. These include being able to name a horse after your company or a brand that you might be trying to promote. Potentially, either option gives excellent exposure to a wide audience. Many involved with horse racing have disposable income, and thus provide a lucrative target market.
The colours / silks that jockeys’ wear are specific to each racehorse owner. Therefore, it is possible to have a jockey wearing your corporate colours when riding.
Racing has always been a great opportunity for entertaining clients, staff and family. A day at the races can be enhanced further if you have a horse running.
If the racehorse is owned by your company, all VAT on purchase and training fees is reclaimable
