After a third and second on his first two runs, it was brilliant to see Ted's Gift get his head in front in the bumper at Ludlow under the guidance of AJ O'Neill.
Always prominent, he pushed along three furlongs out and was soon ridden into the lead, before getting into a duel in the final 110 yards but was always doing enough for the win. We are absolutely thrilled for owner Bob Lester and it is great to see the "Iris's Gift" colours back in the winner's enclosure. After fears that racing wouldn't go ahead to due to the cold December weather, we were thrilled to complete an across the card double at Newbury and Bangor.
Inch House and Jonjo combined to win the Sir Peter O'Sullevan Memorial Handicap Chase in impressive style. It's wonderful to win a race named in memory of an incredible man. Three is the magic number for Magic Seven as he brought up his third victory of his career under rules and his third at Hereford.

Beachcomber and Richie made all the running to complete an impressive victory at Huntingdon.

Held up at the back of the field, they made steady progress, before leading after a fantastic jump at the second last. He was pushed along and went clear approaching last, winning comfortably by 9 lengths. Many congratulations to owner Christopher Johnston! Johnnywho and Mister Meggit bookended a successful day with two hugely impressive victories at Carlisle this afternoon, both under superb Jonjo Jr. rides.
Johnnywho made a brilliant start to life over obstacles, always going nicely throughout. He pressed the leaders just after 2 out and although not completely fluent at the last, he was shaken up and went clear up the run-in. Mister Meggit put in a lovely run on debut in the bumper. Always going easily, he disputed the lead 2 furlongs out. He soon quickened and went clear in the final furlong, winning very nicely. Mellificent made an impressive start to life over obstacles with victory at Carlisle this afternoon in the hands of Jonjo Jr.
