HORSES FOR SALE

FRIDAY 24 JUNE 2022

We have been incredibly busy at the sales recently and have bought some very exciting prospects which I'm really looking forward to get going with.

Myself, Jonjo Jr and AJ, with the help of our Bloodstock expert Matt Coleman, have spent weeks researching the pedigrees, before heading to the sales a few days in advance where we viewed and assessed all the horses.

I am thrilled to have been the successful bidder on all of the horses below. All, bar one of them, are unbroken and ready to be named by their new owners ahead of their racecourse debut later this season.

If you would like to get involved, whether it be Sole, Partnership or Corporate Ownership, and have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact Jacqui and I on;

Walk In The Park ex Bella Venezia

A beautiful filly with lots of strength and substance who looks a precocious type. She has lots of quality, an excellent outlook and attitude and comes from a lovely family. Her half-sister Vegas Blue won a Listed Bumper and her other halfbrother Rathhill won over hurdles and finished 4th in the Grade-1 Tolworth Hurdle. Her dam is a three-parts sister to multiple Grade-1 winner Bellshill. To date, Walk In The Park has sired two runners out of mares by Milan, both were winners last season (a Bumper and a Novice Hurdle) and are promising prospects, so this filly is bred on a cross that seems to be working.

A medium-sized, classy filly with strength, quality and a good attitude. She has a lovely pedigree from a family that Jonjo knows very well having trained her granddam Refinement to win two Grade-1s. READY TO RUN THIS AUTUMN
Also Known As (IRE)
Presenting (GB) ex Jay Lo (IRE)

A big, strong, scopey, chasing type who is a beautiful mover and very light on his feet for a big horse from proven producers Charlie and Francesca Poste. It is hugely encouraging how Also Known As has managed to do so well in his two Point-to-Points as he is very much a chaser of the future and is bound to improve significantly as he matures. Furthermore Jonjo Jnr had ridden Also Known As in a piece of work before he made his debut and was impressed by the feel he gave him. Also Known As was very green on his debut when finishing second, but he put that experience to very good use when winning his second race three weeks later by ten lengths without coming off the bridle. He is by Presenting out of a black type mare who is a half-sister to 141-rated 3-mile chaser Richard’s Sundance, so Also Known As has all the ingredients to make an exciting staying chaser.
