We are a bit behind, catching up with our news……

Powerful Symbol won nicely at Southwell on Monday 6th November under a good ride from Richie McLernon, to the delight of The Megson Family (who visited him in his stable before his run) and Sky Pirate finished second in the Novice Hurdle.

It was an up and down week with lots of horses running well, finishing in the money – but without quite winning.

Over the weekend we had runners at Wincanton where the ground went very soft so we took Mont Royale out of the Badger’s Ale Handicap Chase.

Up at Aintree on Saturday, Forza Milan again ran well finishing second in the Pertemps qualifier under Killian Moore.

Yesterday at Worcester, Pop Rockstar ran encouragingly to finish second in the Handicap Hurdle for his owners, Vamhensid. Let’s hope he’ll be winning before too long.

Tomorrow we have runners at Ludlow and Taunton, followed by runners at Cheltenham at the prestigious “November Meeting” over the next three days.

Unfortunately, we don’t have a horse this year for the big race (The Bet Victor Gold Cup) the race we won last year with Taquin du Seuil.

We have been busy at the sales buying a nice horse called Nadaitak at Doncaster last week, we have the Cheltenham Sale on Friday evening this week after racing, where there looks to be some nice horses and next week it’s the Arqana Autumn Horses in Training sale in Deauville which we will be attending.

We are looking forward to welcoming many of our owners up to Jackdaws Castle for a champagne breakfast before heading off to Cheltenham.

I don’t know if any of you heard on Radio 2 on Tuesday morning, one of the prizes for Children in Need was a fantastic package for a day out at the Cheltenham Gold Cup. Jonjo O’Neill Racing are very proud to be part of it the package organised by Chris Evans and his team. For more information please click here.
