The sparks were flying over the weekend!

The sparks were flying over Jackdaws Castle over the weekend, which we started off on Friday afternoon, with Cobolobo putting up a great performance winning the Handicap Hurdle at Uttoxeter, much to the delight of the Bond Family, under a cool ride from Aidan Coleman. Their second winner of the week.

On Saturday, Go Conquer put up a wonderful performance winning the Sodexo Gold Cup Handicap Chase (Grade 3) worth £100,000, again under a smooth ride from Aidan Coleman, jumping well from the front – leading nearly all the way and pulling out more from the last fence.

Today we have three runners at Southwell, Powerful Symbol, Hidden Oasis and Sky Pirate and tomorrow we travel down to Exeter with His Dream and Above Board.

It’s a busy week with Chepstow on Wednesday and also the sales at Doncaster, three meetings on Thursday (Newbury, Market Rasen and Ludlow) followed by Warwick on Friday and another busy weekend with Aintree, Wincanton, Sandown and Doncaster.

We had a sharp frost this morning, not a problem for us on our polytrack all weather surfaces.
