On the flat at Catterick, Desert Cross ran another genuine race, finishing second and across at Leicester, Minotaur was fourth in the valuable handicap.

On Wednesday at Ludlow, Mont Royale ran another good race, finishing fourth in the big race of the day much to the delight of his syndicate, Phil Tufnell Racing Club and Mad Jack Mytton was third in the novice chase.

On Thursday at Worcester Global Citizen won his bumper impressively for the Megson Family who were all in attendance and State The Obvious ran another good race, finishing second in the concluding handicap hurdle.

At Chepstow at the weekend, we have three runners on Saturday, Fleminport, Rosie McQueen and Doesyourdogbite, followed by It’s A Gimme, Utility, Dazzling Oscar and Khage on Sunday.

We have a blank day on Monday but have plenty of entries coming up over the rest of the week, but some rain is needed to make the ground safe for our winter jump horses.

Richard Perham from the British Racing School was here this morning, helping our younger members of staff by videoing them on the gallops and showing them how they could improve their riding position and style on a horse – which they all found invaluable.

Have a super weekend!
