We had another busy morning here at Jackdaws Castle, with Aidan Coleman and Richie in schooling along with our conditional jockeys Killian Moore and Jack Savage (among others). We schooled over 40 horses in total and it all went smoothly, building for the season ahead.

On Sunday 17th - Storm Melody so very nearly followed up his valuable win at Bath last year, when finishing second, beaten a neck, finishing fast in the Summer Series Final.

On Monday at Worcester, we had a few placed horses who all ran well, before winning the last with Counter Shy, who won his first start over hurdles in good style.
At Chepstow on Tuesday, Knight Destroyer ran a more encouraging race, finishing a creditable second.

Today we are running Desert Cross in the re-scheduled (from Bath) Summer Series Staying Final – which is now in Yarmouth!

We haven’t got any runners at Newton Abbot on Friday as the ground has turned soft, but we will have a few runners at Uttoxeter on Sunday.

We are all hoping the sun shines on Saturday as we are hosting a champagne breakfast for all our syndicate members, who will get a chance to meet up from all over the country and catch up with all the latest news and of course, get to see their horses in action on our gallops.
