Unfortunately, Cheltenham was a bit of a washout with all the rain, we lost a very promising young horse in Counter Shy, but on a brighter note the team here did really well winning three best turned out awards over the course of the three day meeting.

Friday and Saturday we had lots of our owners up for breakfast and to see their horses at exercise, a lot of fun was had, new acquaintances made and bacon sandwiches enjoyed by all.

On Friday night, Cheltenham held their annual November Sales after racing – a lot of the horses made a massive amount of money and unfortunately we were pipped at the post.

On Sunday we had no runners at Cheltenham but Lithic travelled down to Fontwell and ran an encouraging race, finishing third, not beaten very far in the Novice Handicap Chase.

We had no runners on Monday but we were busy at the Arqana sales in Deauville acquiring two nice young horses (Tegerek and Sermondo).

On Tuesday Mountain Path also ran encouragingly, finishing third, in the Mare’s Novice Hurdle under Jonjo Junior, having his second ride as a professional, back after injury (having also ridden Capard King at Uttoxeter on Saturday).

This busy period continues with two runners at each meeting on Friday at Ascot, Catterick and Ffos Las, followed by Ascot and Huntingdon on Saturday and Exeter and Uttoxeter on Sunday.
