At Bangor, on Halloween, Spookydooky didn’t run!, but Walter Oneeightone won nicely under our conditional jockey Killian Moore, another winner for the Bond Family.

We had no runners on November 1st but on Thursday 2nd, The Flame ran with promise, finishing third at Stratford and Cloth Cap ran nicely to finish 4th at Sedgefield in the Novice Hurdle. Washed Ashore was unlucky – to make a bad mistake at the second last, when travelling well in the valuable Durham National.

Today we have two runners at Uttoxeter, followed by More of That running at Down Royal on Saturday in the JNWine.com Champion Chase (Grade 1) and at Ascot we have Festive Affair running in the Byrne Group Handicap Chase and Go Conquer in the Sodoxo Handicap Chase.

On Sunday, Beggars Cross travels up to Carlisle for the valuable Cumberland Handicap Chase.

Monday we have entries at Plumpton and Southwell, Tuesday at Exeter and Wednesday at Chepstow.

We had a busy schooling morning this morning with Aidan, Richie and Killian putting the horses through their paces

Harrison, our Travelling Head Lad appeared in the latest newsletter from The British Racing School. We have a few members of staff who came to us straight from college, Harrison being one of them who has now worked his way up from just riding out at weekends for us, to a respected and important member of our team.

We finished off October way up on last year with 13 winners during the month, 35 horses finishing in the first four and bringing in over £85,000 in prize money. Let’s hope November goes off with a bang to!

Enjoy Bonfire Night – Stay safe.
