It was great to see Champagne At Tara back on form at Aintree on Friday night. He jumped and travelled well and Barry gave him a great ride.

Today sees Adam Du Breteau head to Stratford and we're hoping to run Ready And Able and Coisa Blanco at Uttoxeter on Wednesday. State The Obvious and As You Like have a couple of entries at Ffos Las on Thursday and Market Rasen on Friday so we will decide where they go later in the week. The Flame and Visandi also have entries at Ffos Las as do Lithic and Piggy Winkle at Market Rasen.

We've had a busy time buying horses. We bought three 3-year-old stores at Goffs who are being broken in as we speak as well as three at Cheltenham and one at Ascot. We've already sold four so please get in touch if you are interested in getting involved!

Saturday saw Chris Hughes have a great spin at York. It's been brilliant having him up here training at Jackdaws Castle. Sadly he didn't get the rain that his horse needed but it's brilliant to raise so much money for a great charity and good for racing. It was also nice to see Chris Brownless riding as well as he ever was when we worked together at Gordon Richards "a couple" of years ago!
