Got that Friday Feeling…………

« Back To News

The runners at Ffos Las and Fakenham all ran well, finishing in the money but no winners……. We had to wait for the first Worcester meeting of the season on Thursday 11th for Walkami to finally repay his patient owners with a win in the Handicap Chase and Big Penny ran another encouraging race, finishing 2nd, in the Mares’ Handicap Hurdle.

We have plenty of runners over the next few days with 4 today at Market Rasen, followed by 3 at Haydock on Saturday with Kelvingrove trying to follow up his valuable hurdle win in April. Champagne At Tara hopefully getting back on the score sheet in the Intermediate Handicap Chase and Mont Royale running in the Handicap Chase after a short break.

At Ascot on Saturday we run Storm Melody in the 6 furlong sprint with Champion Jockey Jim Crowley in the plate against 24 opponents.

At Warwick on Saturday, we also run Walk Waterford, Sebastian Beach and Mister Dick.
On Sunday at Ludlow we have two runners – Hedley Lamarr and Festive Affair in valuable Handicap Chases which Ludlow deserve a lot of credit, for putting up such good prize money.

Nice to get a bit of rain overnight and we can definitely do with some more over the weekend to improve the going as it’s been dry for so long.
Hope you all have a very prosperous weekend!
