At Yarmouth on 24th October, Desert Cross again ran well, finishing third on the flat. The following day at Worcester, Strongly Suggested stayed on well to finish second in the handicap chase.

On Thursday 26th Manny Owens and You’re So Right both finished third at Southwell which was a pleasing start for You’re So Right in the bumper.

On Friday at Cheltenham, Cake de L’Isle was going well when he unfortunately unseated Aidan Coleman at the second last. On Sunday Compadre ran well to finish third at Wincanton.

We had a busy weekend here at Jackdaws Castle, as always when Cheltenham is on. We had many guests and owners including the Jockey Club Ownership South West syndicate who came to see their horse “Timeforwest” on Saturday morning.

This morning, (Monday) we had the Racegoers Club Owners Group out en masse to see their new horse “Marmalade Mist” going through her paces. It was a lovely bright morning, perfect for standing out on the gallops.

Tomorrow we have two runners at Bangor and one at Chepstow and the weekend looks busy with Ascot, Wetherby and Down Royal on Saturday and on Sunday we have entries at Huntingdon and Carlisle.

Happy Halloween!
