Behind the Scenes Tour of Jackdaws Castle 2011/2012

Jonjo and Jacqui are delighted to offer pre-booked, private behind-the-scenes tours of Jackdaws Castle. These tours are limited to four people and will cost £95.00 (plus VAT) per person. They provide an opportunity to go behind the scenes at one of the most famous training centres in the U.K and to get close to the horses.
Outline Itinerary
Arrive at 9.30 am for breakfast in the Owners’ Suite before being accompanied to the indoor school to watch some of the finest horses in training warm up. Thereafter, weather permitting, you will be driven alongside as they work up some of the most picturesque gallops in Europe.
Next, tour the main yard and meet the stable stars, including Albertas Run – who knows you might even pick out a future star of your own!
Next stop is the equine pool, where many of our horses swim and then use the solarium.
You may be lucky enough to tour on a day when Champion Jockey A.P. McCoy is riding out. Additionally, any one of our regular team of jockeys, Dominic Elsworth, Richie McLernon, Dougie Costello, Noel Fehily and Richie McGrath, could be schooling.
Return to the Owners’ Suite for light refreshments and a review of your tour, where there might be an opportunity to meet Jonjo himself or other owners who may be visiting Jackdaws Castle.

Full payment is required in advance and children under 16 years must be accompanied by a participating adult. (No reduced fees for under 16’s).
Once we have confirmed your booking and payment has been received you will be contacted by e-mail to confirm the final arrangements (payment is non-refundable).

The stable tour, including start times, dates and itinerary are entirely the preserve of Jonjo O’Neill Racing and, inevitably, will sometimes be subject to change. We will alert customers as soon as possible to cancellations/postponements and will also endeavour to re-arrange where possible. This is the limit of our obligations in the event of cancellation, change or postponement on the basis that the customer has read and accepted this clause.
